Marquees is a division of Green Italy Tours & Events.

Most of our team are university. graduates. We have built a strong team of specialists and engineers  in all aspects of administration and event production. We love what we do and that enthusiasm shines through every task we undertake. Have a need for special events catering coming up? Looking for menus ideas to make your next event a memorable success? We specialize in every kind of special events catering, from parties large and formal to affairs small and intimate. We’re perfectly happy to partner with event and wedding planners, and at the same time we’re skilled at working one-one-one with hosts and those in the corporate who’ve been charged with pulling off successful events, opens, launches, luncheons and announcements.  We are based in Ostuni, Puglia, in the Italian south east, and Treviso, near Venice.

Before leaping into the world of food and travel, Gio grew up in construction sites working for his father since age 14. He then worked for several architectural firms and construction companies in the US, Europe and the Middle East. He also worked in London for the architects that designed the Barbican, Chelsea Harbour and Saddlers Wells Theatre.

Gio’s education is varied. He started with engineering at the George Washington University in DC and moved to architecture with a degree from the Catholic University of America. He has an amazing talent in finding the best possible human resourses, and in creating positive vibes within his team and clients.
